Flash Art Italia Award

 Arte Fiera is happy to host the first edition of the Flash Art Italia Award, which considers Italy’s entire art ecosystem with the goal of becoming the country’s most prestigious award in the field of contemporary art. The Award will give full value to artists, gallerists, museum directors, foundations, and independent spaces, as well as to territories and businesses that conducted high-quality artistic research in the previous year.

The Award regards 14 categories: Best Artist, Best Emerging Artist, Best Art Gallery, Best Emerging Art Gallery, Best Director / Contemporary Art Museum, Foundation of the Year, Best Independent Space, Lifetime Achievement Award, Innovation and Sustainability in Art, Best Curatorial Project, Art and Territory Award, Art and Business Award, Art and Fashion Award, Writing Award.

The selection process calls for a series of nominations for each category, with 3 finalists from which the winner is chosen. The Selection Committee, chaired by Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, includes art critics, curators, collectors, museum directors, and key cultural personalities: Andrea Bellini, Mariuccia Casadio, Maria Luisa Frisa, Luca Lo Pinto, Enea Righi, Bruna Roccasalva, Pier Luigi Sacco, and Alessandro Rabottini.

The award ceremony will be held, on February 7, 2025, in the charming Cinema Modernissimo in Bologna, confirming Arte Fiera’s role as the reference point on the Italian art scene.
