Nuova Mixage was the name of an old wooden gift box that contained 6 bottles of Martini & Rossi: Martini Bianco, Rosso, Dry, China Martini, and 2 sparkling wines. The cover had a drawing of the 6 bottles in black, like a photocopy. Just beautiful... Somewhere or other I had heard (or maybe I had dreamed of) a warm, sensual voice (perhaps Ornella Vanoni) singing: tu puoi scegliere ciò che vuoi, bianco, rosso oppure dry, questo è il mondo… di Martiniii (you can choose whatever you want, white, red, or dry, this is the world … of Martiniii).

The Talk will present Flavio Favelli’s new digital work created for the Nuova Mixage Up show managed by curator Davide Sarchioni. The work is the result of the artist’s collaboration with Var Digital Art by Var Group, which promotes the convergence of contemporary and digital art and business.
In a continuous loop of images, the 216 bottles of liqueurs (in different shapes and sizes, collected by the artist over the years) forming the installation at the Biblioteca Zeri in Bologna flash by, one after the other, creating a morph that examines the aesthetic aspects of each bottle and emblematically recalls historical eras and various, far-off cultural backgrounds, all gathered in a single viewing in the form of a rapid and fascinating time-lapse.
The Nuova Mixage Up video can be seen on the IG, FB, and LI profiles of Var Digital Art and on the Var Group’s web page for the project
